Dr. Mays will share Delivery and Financing Systems for Population Health Networks, Incentives, and Policy during the orientation for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Population Health Fellows. Additional CDC fellows from environmental health, informatics, and preventive medicine will also be included in the session. Topics included covered in previous sessions range from determinants of health, contemporary health systems, health financing, changing incentive systems, and multi-sectoral partnerships.
Three population health pilots from Utah, Colorado, and California will participate in the day long session, which will include an introduction to population health, a focus on the opiod crisis, and how to plan projects.
