WEBINAR: AFIX: A Multi-state Randomized Control Trial to Increase Adolescent HPV Immunization through Provider Best Practices
AFIX (or Assessment, Feedback, Incentives, and eXchange) is a quality improvement model developed by the CDC to improve vaccine delivery in primary care settings. This study adapts and evaluates the AFIX model, used nationally to improve childhood immunization coverage, in state public health programs to raise HPV vaccination coverage among adolescents. Research findings will be presented on states’ administration of immunization QI tools and testing using a randomized controlled trial, as well as study challenges related to adapting AFIX for delivering the 3-dose HPV vaccine series to adolescents and avenues to improve AFIX efficiency through new delivery modes.
