WEBINAR: Interorganizational Relationship and Infrastructure Variation and Public Health System Efforts to Address Prescription Drug Abuse

Wednesday, Apr 13, 2016 (All day)
Location: Lexington, KY United States

screen_shot_2016-07-11_at_12.27.05_pm.png Among the many federal and state initiatives designed to combat the abuse and diversion of prescription pain medications, Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs (PDMPs) have emerged as one of the most promising policy mechanisms to address the growing epidemic. In this webinar, we will present preliminary findings from a mixed methods study, which was designed to establish baseline knowledge about PDMPs’ functions, the interorganizational relationships that help or hinder their functioning within the public health and legal systems, and the legally established infrastructure variation that impacts their implementation.
