Joseph Melson brings over 15 years of lived experience of homelessness and community engagement. He has worked with national service programs such as Concerned Black Men, City Year, and many more as a youth, teen, and adult. His experience has helped him embody compassion, patience, and an insatiable eagerness to help. This passion along with a background in psychology has been channeled into the role of a technical assistance provider. He serves as a consultant with SAIH, assisting with homelessness solution efforts, and aiding in the creation and development of guides and resources.
